The baby is finally here!!

Ok so this is new to me.  My name is Jon, I haven't really posted on here.  I let Sheila do all that, but since she's in the hospital still, I'll give it a go.  So Monday morning at 9:16, our new baby was born! Yea!! I'm so excited that I've been telling complete strangers that I have a new baby! So here are some pictures that I took.  I won't post all of the, mainly because there are so many of them, you would probably spend the next hour or so scrolling through them.  These are my favorites.

Baby's first bath. She loves getting her hair cleaned. I let the nurse give the bath so I could take pictures.

I know what you're thinking, and yes those are natural blonde highlights in her hair.  I've never seen anything like it, but she is just so darn cute!

Quiet time for mommy and baby.

So those are my favorite pictures, but I just sent out a whole bunch through e-mail to everyone.  For those of you who may not have gotten the e-mail, here is basically what it said.  Our baby's name is Alexis Ann Ihnen.  She was born at 9:16 a.m. on January 13, 2009.  She weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long.  As you can tell from her pictures, she has the cutes mop of hair I've ever seen.  Well, that's all for now.  See you all later!
