About Our Family

Let's see....Where to begin? This is our family; Sheila, Jon, Halie and Cujo(our puppy). We were married on January 30, 2004 in Colorado Springs, CO. Why Colorado you may ask? Well, Jon was getting ready to deploy to the middle east, and while he was at his mobilization station, Fort Carson, he decided that he couldn't live without Sheila in his life. Sheila, obviously, decided the same, so we had a JAG officer, and Jon's commander, Captain Clements, marry us. *Fast Forward a few months* One of the happiest days was when Jon came home on leave. WOOHOO!!!! Shortly after Jon returned to the middle east, Sheila discovered she was pregnant! WOOHOO!!!(again) *Fast Forward 8 months* Jon returns from his deployment to find his wife HUGE!! A month later our beautiful daughter was born. We decided to name her Halie Marie Ihnen. And so begins the first REAL year of marriage. We lived with Sheila's parents for a few years until we moved into an apartment in West Valley City, UT. It was awesome being on our own for the first time, and we had a blast. While we were living in the apartment we bought a baby Shih Tzu, and we named him Cujo. After all such a small dog deserves a really big name. About a year later, Jon's mom decided to move to New York. Because she was moving to New York, we decided that it would benefit us and her if we moved into her house, and made lease payments to her. And that's where we are right now. Living in Jon's mom's house, soon to be our house (in 5 years) with our little girl and our little puppy. Oh wait!!! I almost forgot. 6 months ago Sheila found out that she is pregnant AGAIN!!! WOOHOO!!!!(again) We tried for a year and a half and finally we are having another child. The name, which we have already decided on, will be announced at a later date. We like the element of SURPRISE!!!!! And that's where we leave you for now.
